@LT - she got 'em for $2 a piece + shipping, she didn't say how much.

@nwg - Good Luck with the TTG02's, we'll see how good Digital Faq ratings are. You should be OK !!!

I keep my collection of backups in 3 200 cd wallets, small space, very portable
and about the same price as slim or full jewel cases.
After I backed up a tv series and my master backups got trashed and I had to go
thru the long process again, I decided my backups were more valuable than the
originals, either make 2 backups or let the originals get trashed.
          NEVER LOAN AN ORIGINAL BACKUP

I probably going to use them for TV recording. It also helps that my Sony player plays everything I put in it.

Apparantly, a reason why they are cheap is they are only 2x speed. I burn at that speed anyway. I am not too fond of silver top due to fingerprints but at the price I can't complain.

Neither do I. I have spent a lot of money on DVD's and they are fragile. I have always wished they were in caddies like DVD RAM so they are much more protected.

I just realised that Jm1647 got the code wrong. They are TDKG02.

The fakes were Princo (rubbish discs and as bad as Bulkpaq). These are not them.

nwg- yeah I did a boo boo, I looked up TTG02 instead of TDKG02, I got confused with the G02 when I did the search, but they are both rated 1st class by DigitalFaq and according to the review here are I'm sorry to say they are only good with 65 players instead of 56

Edit - If you left off the trailing zero after the TDK G02, if not they could be the fakes. Rut Ro !

What happens with fakes? I assume they just don't burn properly.

The company has a 30 day " no quibble" money back guarantee. I have never had to use it yet.

I'm not sure but in the review link I posted they mentioned about the fake TDK G02's going around. I did not read the whole review but seen that part. The confusion for me was the G02 part and I seen the TDK TTG02's first. My bad

Well if worse comes to worse ya can use the "no quibble" . Sorry if I added to the confusion.

No problem. They won't be used for DVD Backups and just stuff I recorded of TV. I am currently recording CSI Miami, CSI New York, Doctor Who and Lost as the actual DVD's will be a long way off.
