Strict rules at work about internet use, the last place I worked for they actuallyhad 2 people working for the company that did nothing but watch what every one else was doig on their computers at work. many were fired for using the net for their own personal use. With jobs as scarse are they are now you follow the rules if you want a job. LOL

The last place I worked had armed guards and computer areas that could get you shot if you went near.(It was an Aerospace company). It was way to stressful.

My hubby works for a large hotel chain and they monitor everyone via the systems dept. They actually fired someone for being on the internet too many hours of the day.

                Dvd Labeling

I HAVE FOUND AN ANSWER FOR LABELING DVDS WITHOUT THE EXPENSE OF AN EPSOM PRINTER OR THE 8962 AVERY LABELS - THEY WORK GREAT BUT COST $1.00 EACH. THE VERBATIM TOUCHLESS LABELING KIT IS GREAT. THE KIT ONLY COSTS $12.00 AND THE LABELS COST $ 0.40. THIS IS A GREAT ALTERNATIVE. I REMOVED ALL OLD MERITLINE LABELS DUE TO FAILURE AND USED THE VEERBATIM. NO MORE PROBLEMS!

Are you talking about King George?
If I get started on him, I won't stop. All I'll say is I'm glad I have the right to say what I believe about him. He'll go down in the "Hall Of Shame" as one of the leaders most instrumental in bringing their country to the pitiful state it's in. Poverty and unemployment everywhere and he sends billions upon billions overseas to his oil buddies and to "support" the war in the middle east...... I won't say anymore as I'm sure there's some "Bush" lovers out there and he isn't the only one responsible for getting us in the state we're in. I'm glad I don't have to love my president to love my country.

Core Labels on DVD-R? Anything definitive?

Ok, I've read all the posts about not putting labels on DVDs. I buy it. But, what about the small core labels. I have a stack of TY DVD-R I'm using for a project and need to put something on the "up" side for the dummy types who don't know up from down (me sometimes). I would think the core labels should be ok if applied with a stamper. The stamper takes care of the imbalance crowd, and the size should take care of the "shrink" crowd. Any input on this????

hmmmn. best way to find out is to experiment rather than conjecturing i say. take me for example. on every last one of my back-ups i use avery envelope labels. they are about the size of 3 stamps side-by-side. i've tried these in at least a dozen players. never had a single issue.

LT, not too sure about your solution, especially with DVDs.
Chewy. Much more elegant but a bit more expensive. I had considered the Inkjet route and buying an inkjet just for DVDs, but... Expensive, too.
I'm still in the thinking and waiting stage. Kind of what you do in the loo.
                              Thanks for the input, though.
