DVD Decrypter is no longer but, now there is ImgBurn!!

Below comes from the official ImgBurn website written by LIGHTNING UK! himself:

ImgBurn carries on from where DVD Decrypter left off! (Well, for the burning part anyway!)

ImgBurn can write most types of CD / DVD images and it supports all the latest writers (including booktype / bitsetting on many of the major ones - i.e. BenQ, LiteOn, NEC, Plextor, Sony). You can even use ImgBurn to erase / format your rewritable media!

ImgBurn will try its very best to burn your DVD-Video double layer images using the layer break you've specified in the IFO files, but it can also calculate the best place for you, to save you the trouble.

Advanced functionality can be found in context menus that appear when you right click on various bits of the user interface. Can you find them all??!!

As I'm sure you all know, DVD Decrypter was shut down due to legal reasons. Not wanting to waste all my hard work, I'd like to introduce you to ImgBurn! - (Say hello ImgBurn) - "Hello" )

ImgBurn is an enhanced version of the 3.5.4.0 burn engine - and it will continue to get better and better as time goes on.

I hope in time you'll grow to like ImgBurn as much as you did DVD Decrypter.

If everyone who likes my program donates $2 (or whatever they can afford), I'll be able to pay my legal fees, get more drives working and add more exciting new features!
If you decide to use it, please click the 'Donate' button at the website!

Go here to download ImgBurn: http://www.imgburn.com/

      ImgBurn .....

      Hey JMET,

ImgBurn sounds really cool. Thx for keeping up the legacy.

Q: Should I uninstall DVDD before installing ImgBurn?
Q: Does ImgBurn work the same way as DVDD does? Meaning, once I've installed it, just backup films the way I would normally do as with DVDD?

      Thanks

Ohhh duh .... lol ... i saw a screenshot of it and it looks exactly like DVDD. i didn't read the fineprint. i just assumed it was going to replace DVDD.

So, Columbo, why would one need ImgBurn? DVDD is already a burning program.

dvd decrypter was shut down because of legal issues, and it is no longer being developed.

imgburn is being developed now because it is seen as 'legal' as a standalone burning program, and will likely improve on features/any bugfixes to the burning program in dvd decrypter

Let me state, I did not create the program, I was just merely informing everyone about it. I do not want anyone to think I was trying to take credit for what LIGHTNING UK! created! I apologize if anyone got that impression!

I definitely got the impression Jmet was the author of imgburn, and now
can't help wondering how LUK can be from E texas, vbg!
No problem, but did donate 10$ to defense fund, may try program
                        someday also.

it's all how you read it, i knew right away it wasn't his words, and that he was simply passing info along!

I had to recheck the ETexas info again at first, but knew DVDD/LUK
                              and goatropers don't quite coincide.
