Nero 7 and Burning Problems

I have Nero 7, and I am having problems burning a DVD+R DL disc. I keep getting a message from Nero that the project exceeds the capacity of the disk, however it will fit on a DVD9 disk....I have the DVD9 disk in my burner but it does not allow me to burn to it....Is there anyone who can tell me what I must do to burn the double layer DVD? Is there a setting that I am missing? I am very frustrated as I even bought a new burner, and it came bundled with Nero.....please help, thanks!

Problem Burning Dbl. Layer w/Nero

I have burned before, many times with Nero, but never attempted to burn a dual layer disk....Nero will recognize the DVD+R DL (Verbatim) but will not burn to it...it will burn as a DVD and this messes up the audio, very out of sync....
I hope you can walk me through what is wrong here....Am I missing a setting?
Any help is very much appreciated..

I am trying to burn a Mp2 video file, but it is not supported by ImgBurn...what di I do?

ImgBurn is very specialized, it only does iso's.
Nero does everything, just not as well.

Nero DVD+R DL Burning Issues

Why is it so difficult to burn a dual layer DVD? The thread " How To Burn A Dual Layerr DVD" is very complicated and involved....Why does not Nero, which advertisies Double Layer Burn and the companies that manufacture these double layer burners give instructions on the process....I have a friend who does wedding videos, uses a pioneer burner with Nero and has no problem, just pops in his DVD+R DL and it starts to burn his video project...I mean Nero tells me I need a DVD-9 disk, but does not accapt it even though it see's it in the drive....If you could shed some liught on this as I am going crazy....

Does DVD Shrink work with NERO 7. I tried to downloaded it and use my prevoius key and it was asking me to install Nero...

A lot of times you have to use the clean tools or nero gets hosed.
In a particular line like 6.x.x.x updates are fine.

To Tony: Have you updated the firmware for your DVD burner? I had a similar problem recently with Nero 6 and I fixed it by updating the firmware...

im not suggesting anything but why dont you use the old key gens if you dont want to spend your money or serials jst wont work.
