These media are not very good. The only way to see what is the best speed is to try and see what are best results.
What is your burner? What firmware?
I suggest you to start with a burn @12x, and if results are bad try to burn @8x. If you have a liteon/sony or a benq burner then you must do at least 4-5 burnings to see results, because of learning function of these burners.
If you want to speed up this learning function, you can use a test disc writing some random files in multisession with 4-5 sessions. This disc will be lost, but will allow you to speed up learning.Comment
