i read that modified fw is better,so i flashed my drive 2510 to 2.f7 by mad dog,but i couldnt burn,so i switched to 2f9,and now it burns only at 4.5x,no matter what speed i set on imgburn...im thinking of trying the ver 2.f8 now...

but i have some general questions...take look at the screenshot and explain me what exactly is in this table?

what can i expect from modified fw?

if u look at the table, can u tell which fw to use?

looking at the strategy version overview, I would use
dee's modified 205C as the latest greatest

I would assume you will get riplock remove, region free and bitsetting?

          from the download
          LD2510 Modified Firmware V205c

          RIPLOCK removed
          RPC1 Patch
          Bitsetting on DL media only

          -R media
          RITEK G04 > 8X
          ProdiscS03 > 8X
          MXL RG02 >8X

          +R
          All RITEK R03 >8X
          All DAXON AZ2 > 8X
          Prodisc R02 > 8X
          All RICOH JPNR01 > 8X
          CMC MAG F01 > 8X
          All RICOH JPNR 00 > 6X
          MBI PG101R03 > 8X

More MIDs will be speeded if there is a demand.
Bitsetting on +R and +RW can be added if there is a demand for this firmware
