whats better verbatim or phillips?

Verbatim hands down! Verbatim brand & Taiyo Yuden brand are the only 2 brands I use.

However, if the Verbatims use CMC dye then they are rubbish.

actually here in the usa, we get verbatims made by cmc in tawain with verbatim(MCC) dye

Use <a href="http://www.dvdr-digest.com/software/dvd_identifier.html" target="_blank">DVD Identifier</a> to find out the media ID of the blank disc.

You do not want CMC or PRODISC!

100 pack spindles of Verbatims can be found at Sams for $40. You probably won't find them much cheaper anywhere else unless they are on sale at OfficeMax, Staples, Best Buy...etc.

they could be cmc and not mcc, beware of those printable one. Try some sony 8X+ from JP

PS I live in MN once but never been to Duluth, I just feel a cold chill every time I think about MN

I dont know , but Verbatim 16X+ or - without printable is forsure, you can ask other pp about that . I bought once time cmc then later I got lucky I got mcc they all look the same to me.
