Can you put the original disc on a scanner and scan the original label? Is there any easier way to do it? Thanks!
How to copy the original disc label?

Yes, but you need a flatbed scanner and then you can simply print it on your backup printable DVD. -

Another point, do not put adhesive labels on your disks as this can cause reading problems. See this link http://www.itl.nist.gov/div895/caref.../disccare.html or see this link: http://forum.digital-digest.com/show...threadid=28604Gary D

Consider yourself lucky. These things are OK for CD's (I Think), but cause a lot of problems for DVD's. You do what you want, but when your player starts to have problems reading the disc, the stick on label will probably be to blame. If you must have "pretty discs", get yourself a printer that prints on "printable" discs and you'll be a lot better off! Me, I use Sharpie markers. After all, these are just back-ups. And besides, your supposed to watch them, not look at them.Last edited by bill7621; 6 Mar 2006, 12:57 PM.Blessed are they who expect nothing, for they shall not be disappointed!Comment
