Programming Error- Expection Occurred!!

When I attempt to Encode or Backup "Ray" or "The Wedding Date" I get error

"DVD Shrink Encountered an Error and cannot continue.

Programming error exception occurred "

I am using Nero Express 7, DVD Shrink and Sony DVD + R's.

Nero 7 isnt very compatable with shrink.
you may need to burn maunually with nero or
In shrink save as a .ISO and burn with DVD Decrypter or Imagburn

Nero 7 works very well with DVD Shrink.

I just wound up Re-Authoring both movies, and just burning them without the menu.

Hi everyone.

I'm a long time off and on lurker, first time poster. I noticed this thread and wanted to mention that I had a strange thing happen on the subject of "programming error".

I backed up a two part movie ("Helen Of Troy" [two discs]) to my hard drive with the intention of re-authoring using main titles only- to put both parts onto one disc...

It's an older movie, so DVD Shrink handled that fine.

My problem was when I started the final backup in re-author mode, I can get to 57% encoding and DVD Shrink pops up the "programming error exception occurred" and kills the encoding process. I tried it three times- even did a deep analysis on the files. I don't understand why shrink will encode the two parts to the hard drive from the disc without problem, but not from the files to either blank media or the hard drive in a separate folder. Weird.

I hope I explained that properly. Maybe someone else has encountered this before and knows how to remedy my problem.

you need to rip with dvdd first with both of them then reauthor by shrink after that, if dvdd have problems then you need to post that log so we can see, welcome to the forumTrekker49
