Nero 7 New Problem-cannot burn large file

I have been using Nero Ultra 7 for months but just ran into a problem yesterday when I tried to burn a 2 gig file to a Data DVD. I never had this happen before so I am not sure what caused this change. I get an error/message that says the compilation mode must be changed to burn the larger file. Nero 7 is supposed to automatically change when burning DVD from CD and I never had this come up before. I have reinstalled twice, tried to download and install the newest version but I am still getting the same message. If you move the file over in DVD Data copy mode it gives you the message and does not show the files size. I copied larger files before with no problem.

Has anyone run into this or have any suggestions.

      Nero 7 burn problem

I didn't have a log file so I just tried to burd two 2 gig files to a DVD to produce one. The only things that copied were a couple of small files that were in the folders.

      Here is the log file.

          Nero 7 burn problem

Thanks for the quick reply. These are files on my hard drive.

I have a feeling something happened in the way of a hack/virus because I have no access to any system restores previous to yesterday. I also noticed that the drive speed has been reduced to 2.4. This was always at 8 before.

is all of your firmaware up dated.

I know the basic stuff on reading the logs but there are some things in those logs that I dont really know a whole lot on maybe some that can read the log better then me can make more sense out of it for you.

I believe that when you burn larger data files you need to use udf compilation instead of iso compilation. Its on the first page where it asks what type you what to use.

                Nero 7 Burn problem

The program used to do that automatically. I never had to make any changes before. I checked and there is no option for UDF. I belive there must have been a Win upgrade or some type of virus since I didn't change anything else.
