make a dvd

i dont think im doing this right. i put dukes of hazzard in the dvd burner. i opened dvd shrink and brought it up then hit the back up key. now its encoding. am i doing this all right? or did i miss something?

How long it takes depends on your settings and your computer. It wont be done in a minute or 2 wait untill it is finished

So you have the DVD in your burner and not a DVD rom?
That is ok but when it is ready to burn you will have to take the DVD out and put in a blank DVD

ok so i feel like a moron all i need is to do it one time then ill get it. its just making sure im doing it right is my problem

How do you have the movie set up in shrink = meaning
did you click to have it burn with nero or save save files to your hard drive.
There is not much more i can help you with until it has finished what it is doing now.

And you are not a moron you are just learning something new.

Just like I did the first time I tried to back up a DVD

nero is not running so im thinking its saving on my harddrive

Ok find the file it was saved to if your hard drive

if you have more then one hard drive it seems to put the file on your secondary drive by default.
If you have only local disc C go to local disc C should have the movie title in the file folder

i cant find it the only thing that i can find is a dvd file but its got some "vob" files in it
