Once in awhile i get a bad burn close to the end of the disk. But i have alot more trouple with the plextor and the playo's i got for 5.00 for a 50 pack but i expected that.
now to get back to understanding the log a little better like you guys can, the clues you pointed out, one was the date of the firmware , i dont see the date of the firmware on the log anywere , so i take it that your saying that even though its the latest one out its still old.
And you said the mid code is not showing up , i have to look at a log from the nec or the plextor to see were thats should be located thanks for pointing that out.

can you explain this part of the log for me please

      let's try 2 things
      1. msconfig, disable all, and do a burn and post log
      then later maybe?
      2. reflash from safe mode

be nice to get rid of this, but somethings still eating some megs of ram
beside ultrabuffer, I set mine back down to 80 megs from auto

I guess just keep burning and fingers crossed, course that burner might be
telling you it's seen it's better days

if you still have a problem try putting the 630c as master and leave the older one disconnected
change jumper and connect to end of cable

and left open with nero express, still played!
