If these old programs don't hose the spti bus, what is getting in the way of Nero Cdspeed not reading LG drive?CJ

I would think cdspeed rides on the coattails of old nero interface?
you probably have some sort of crosstalk going on that is messing up usb and/or firewire with cdspeed? way over my head. some have had luck with
putting nero aspi in the same folder with cdspeedComment
-
Is this the aspi you are talking about? http://ww2.nero.com/nero6/enu/WNASPI32.DLL.html
I looked for the CDspeed folder. I had made an "Media.exe" folder that hold all my .rar and .exe files. No specific Cdspeed folder. Should I place the .dll in the Media folder?CJ

I tried an experiment by disconnecting the external(lite-on) drive, then unistalling all the primary, secondary, and duals (duplicates and all). Then I restarted the computer without the light-on and still the computer found all of them again. 2 primarys, 2 secondarys, and 2 duals!
I will download the dev filter now and see what I find.
Thanks,
