Nero CD-DVD Speed, a great tool

Scan after running roxio tool.
Still no sign of drive but a lot less stuff. A lot. I don't see a lot of your stuff. Do I need to install again DVDD and Imgburn? Got to go...... KIDS...... put that down....

JM got me confused 2 mids E01 and M01 both 16x dvd+r? Well that's a good sign that we aren't that familiar with cmc mid's

Chewy when I edited it I just put 16X my bad. When they were on sale at Staples guys were saying they could burn them at 16X. I just took a peek and they are marked 8X but the stock KS0A lists up to 16x in the drop down box. So I chose 12X

@Chewy #2 off the spindle a full burn this time A lot of people with different burners are reporting good quick burns with this media. Note nothing below 6X allowed. As many burner\fw and media are getting better.

Edit - with the sale price of $7.98 for a 50 pk spindle and the $5.00 coupon and the $3.00 for a couple empty ink cartridges, not bad at all

hmmm, seems we need to post a tip of the day

What I mean is when I run the file driver and I hit clipboard and it says it's saved to the clipboard, how do I get access to the clipboard to post that informatioin. I can't find where it is saved? Does that make any sense?

it's saved in a virtual copy operation and you have to paste it into a real app.
I usually paste into a post or reply then edit if necessary, you can open/paste notepad or wordpad but that's an extra step.

so are you still using all that stuff?
anydvd, sonic, gear, and do you burn with musicmatch?

let's gut it then reload only what you need, but first make burning work right

what speed do your regularly burn at and how long does the burn take

I use the Anydvd, I know, I know...... The sonic I use for my lightscribe burning, the express labeling that's about it. The musicmatch I don't use that much, use I-tunes more now. Guess I really don't need both. I'm not sure what the gear is even for. There's alot of things on my computer I need to take the time to clean out that I don't use.

I usually burn at 4x occasionaly 8x, I just backed up "The Wall" and I believe at 8x, it's taken a little over an hour I think.

So you think too much crap is what is causing my problem?

Cdspeed still blind in both firewire and usb 2.0. Imgburn and DVDD still see drive. Firewire connection recognizes drive by name. USB recognizes drive but as "Mass Storage Device'. I've got to tell you. The "No Nero Cdspeed " capability in the LG, for now, doesn't seem to be lessening the quality of the burns.
But ,man I do want to figure this out. KIDS...long weekend.....kids no!......

The last one took 1 1/2 on my internal, not the light-on. It seems both burners are slowwwwwww. So is it normal to have the duplicate primary, secondary, ect.. ide controllers? Would the extra programs be creating these?

Should my next step be to remove the musicmatch? I'm not sure what the gear is for, I'll have to investigate. I'll see if I can remove the sonic, but not lose my express labeler.

read over what gary did to get his filters clean, that should not kill a disk labeler program
