These are just the start of the tests with a certain Plextor external. This was the first disc of a spindle. I wanted to do the disc quality but I keep getting the same error shown in the first attachment.



This took 5minutes 23seconds burn only.

what are you using usb or firewire?

cdspeed quality scans not supported for plex drives?
plex tools, geno will know

It is usb. Now I am burning here like I normally would. For instance would the 2-way firewall be interfering etc? I have yet to try with all that disabled. Anyway here are the rest of the tests at all rated speeds.
