I wonder how these would rate in the quality game?

Do you use the printable? Is it a special burner that prints them or do you use something else to print on them?

I have an Espon R320 and love it. You insert the disc (must be inkjet printable) into a special tray and place it into the printer. It produces excellent results with photos and discs. You can also get the R220 on sale usually for around $50.

Sounds a little nicer then my Lightscribe, it works pretty good, I don't use it for all my dvds just "special" ones. The media is a little pricey. It came with the new pc I bought last year. I wouldn't have went and bought one specifically for the lightscribe but I have enjoyed "creating" with it.

Next time maybe!!! How long does it take to print the images on average?

we could always go back to paying 30$ a hundred for memorex

how bout a well used up nec 3520 that leaves a consistent rocky mountain
pattern in the last gig of data?

                            consistent, every disk

My BTC is good at producing about 4 evenly spaced matterhorns per disc; I would say that is consistent, too!

hold on we are talking about backing ones own movie, why would anyone want something to mass produce them? Now my friend's band might want something like that to do an ep or album on but then they would only need a cd writer, unless they went video.
If you use these forums you will not have to face that...
