Plextor external drive, help pls!

    I would even try going into the hardware manager and uninstall the Plextor drivers followed by uninstalling USB drivers. Reboot and the drivers should be reinstalled. USB 1.0 wouldn't be a good thing if that's what you have. If this is the case get yourself a USB 2.0 card. Otherwise try uninstalling drivers and report back to us.

        Well, finally got the drive to burn. I went to the Plextor site and purchased their burner software. Nero never would burn, it only locked up. At least now I can use DVDShrink to backup my DVD's along with the Plextor for burning. Perhaps there is a setting somewhere in nero, but I could not find it.
