What is the general opinion on the TY and the Verb hub printable media? I know that putting labels on yourself has some very mixed results but how do these manufactured hub printables hold up over time?

I've been using inkjet printable & hub-printable white & silver since they became available, and I have no problems with them. Especially after treating them with Patricia Nimock's spray. I've never tried to stick a label on a DVD.

The only one that ever peeled on me was one I loaned to a friend, and he let his kid get hold of it. I don't know what he did to it, but half the printable surface came clean off the disc in large flakes by the time he gave it back to me (with no explanation or apology). I'm glad it wasn't inside MY player, but like I said: out of ~2000 discs, that's the only one.

I think the verb and the tyg03's are about equal on average, I have seen good scans with good batches of both. Bad scans too.

@LT,
open them up some time and compare to the first batch, googling the batch number is informative too.

if you run into a real good batch of TYG02's, hoard them and use appropriately

well i just cracked the sucker, this time they are indeed G02's. what number am i looking for? i see nothing on these suckers.

no, i've never used nero vision. drive was extremely fragmented, had only about 2 GB free on HD and pc still hasn't been re-started in almost 2 months. normal is around 70% for me. everything is a tad slow. this was the burn after that last one
