Yes, this disc was burned @18x
These PIF spikes are calibration points and are typical of NEC drives. But can be ignored, because they doesn't affect disc readability.

Couldn't Resist
I received a new burner for Christmas, and finally could't resist to see what an 18X burn would look like.
I was impressed and surprised especially for Sony 16X Media.Attached Files

Thanks Chewy
Yes they are. Best Buy Special.
95 is the best score I get even with Verbs. Must be a Lite-On thing.

since a 95 means the max pif value was a 2 for those 1ecc scanning burners,
if you were lucky enough to get a max value of 1 then you would get a 98
I look at the pif total, the verb's should give slightly lower pif totals
I was more than happy with my last sony purchaseComment

12x Burn with MCC 004. Burn and scan with Samsung SH-182D.
I normally burn at 8x, but this burner seems to like 8x or 12x.
