playback skipping problems

take a disk that skips put it in your liteon and do a disk quality scan at 8x speed

A blank ? or an actual backup witrh problems? I am assuming a blank from your link on the subject.

you can't do a quality scan until after the blank is burned

use one of the problem disks

a picture is worth 1000 words, maybe more

verify skips on another player

altho that burn is below my standards, it should still play without skipping

You think it could be my 80$ Costco player is the problem?

I will head over to the neighbors and see if I get skips at same locations in movie?

try the 16x dvd+r verbatim, burn at 8x or 12x

go advanced manage attachments, here's a example of a trophy burn

I have seen your burner do just as well with the verb's at 12x

I am looking right now at NewEgg and supermediastore.com for deals on +R,
would you choose Taiyo Yuden or Yuden 002
over Verbatim 16x.

And, If in never want to burn at 16x should I be getting slower rated discs?

Any ideas why I cannot see your "trophy burn" thumnail?
Also, I can't find/ don't understand "advance attachments"?

when you go advanced(bottom), you can then manage attachments

look for sales on verbatims locally(best deals)

My Firewall was messing with the pics. Now I see your trophy burn.
I have something to shoot for I suppose.

When I built me PC I did not know much about burners so I went by NewEgg ratings etc.
I am willing to buy a new burner if anyone thinks I should.
Are Benq great? they have a 1650 for ~$30 at NE???
