I recently started to use ripit4me and I think its great. Unfortunately I ran into a problem regarding playing the DVD on a DVD player. I used the program sucesfully and backed up a movieI made but I cannot run it on my player. I can however rune it on my computers DVD reader and watch the whole movie. Whatr can i do to fix this problem?

Hello and welcome to the forum,
There could be more then one reason for this so I have some questions for you to better determine what may be happening.
1.) What type of blank media are you using please include if its + or - R
2.) How fast are you buringing and what program are you using to burn with?
3.) What movie title is this and what region is it?
4.) Are you backing up the entire movie? Or Movie only or Movie with menus?
Not all media is compatable with all stand alones, and if you are burning too fast that may play a part in it too. -
I am using
DVD+R
16X
Nero
Alot of different movies, american
I was doing the entire movie with extrasComment

Ok now were are on to something, If you could post a nero burn log that will help a lot.
Also 116X is way too fast, give it a try at 4X or 6X MAX, you may want to take a read on the golden rules of buring in my sig.
Also you may want to try to burn to a DVD-R there are some players that do not like the +R discs I have a Toshiba that wont play a +R disc and a sony that will play +R and -R.
Please post your nero burn log:
To find you burn log go to:
local disc C:\program files\ahead\nero\log history
the history log will be on a note pad and it will have everything you have burned scroll down to the last one or 2 then copy and paste them into a reply on this thread please.
That log will show important information.
P.S. America is region 1Comment

The first thing that I see is you may want to click the link in my sig to update your nero to 6.6.0.18,
You may also want to consider using IMGburn for you movies, (I think it does a much better job)
Also try to free up some of your memory, you want to close out all programs running in the background that you dont need running and if you are running anit virus software dissable it while burning that alone will free up memory.
I am checking on your firmware now.Comment
