something is grabbing your drive and holding on and not releasing?

you are cycling the tray between burns(if more than one burner?)

not so sure of the que function?

Maybe devfilter would show what other programs/drivers may be holding onto the drive. LINK

Maybe process explorer will show what programs are still running when appear to be turned off?

I'm not cycling the tray between burns. Maybe WMP. I updated to the new one and I think maybe thats when I started having problems. Gary D I will try devfilter when it starts doing it again.
