DVDs play on PC, not on player :-(

    Yup! I suppose Word must put soem special formattign characters in or somehtign. But this post illustrates why I do it - my typing's awful, and I have Word set up to auto-correct al my typos! I suppose I coudl save the word doc as a txt file first, which woudl probably get rid of them... incidentally, I have read the suggestions in the previous post, very useful, thanks. But it's still a very specific problem which only happens when I do certain things; it;s not a media, burner or player problem, as far as I can see...

      I use word for the same purpose
      If you use the "preview post" first you can see them and edit them out before posting.
      They tried to Assimilate me and failed!
