Yes they are, nice catch Chewy that is too high. Never purchased from that place, which seem to be a good thing.

Taiyo Yuden always get my vote, we continue to put out trouble free Taiyos for 3 years now to our clients, and haven't heard as much as a peep about compatibility or reliability problems.

Pickup some windata DVD's. Has anyone ever heard of this brand. I was curious so I bought them. And I found out that it is made by Verbatim.

I've been using Memorex to burn my movies for years, but I have never used Ty or Verb the recommened brand. Are they that much of a different? Meaning, are they big different in picture quality and audio? To me Memorex is doing a B job for me. Does anyone have an input on this? Please, excuse me for being a beginner. Wish I have read these posting sooner.

So, i'm guessing it will show the quality of its disk through SmartBurn, right? I just learn about SmartBurn from other discussions. I will most definitely test it today. And will pick up some Verb disks on the way home. =)
