mickey, use shrink to convert the iso to dvd files and see if they play from the hard drive

this is essential to check if something is wrong with the iso

    or
does the burned dvd play in your computer drive?

      Chewy,
The movie plays fine both from the files on the HD and from the burnt discs (3 tries). This is the first time I've experienced something like this, and my DVD player is a brand new Panasonic S42 which plays multi formats. Can't understand it..Thanks..F

something about that title and how ripit handles the menu that your standalone doesn't like?

            check other standalones?
