starting to look like it's your burner doesn't like dvd+rw's

see if another drive can work with those disks before blaming the liteon

did you upgrade the firmware? It might have had a bad flash?

hehe i dont even know what firmware means....

i've tried to find a new driver for my burner, but it doesnt even say what company my burner is, it came with my computer which i built on pcspecialist.co.uk

so i dont even know if its possible to get a new driver....i think my driver is from 2002...

it's possible it was flashed badly when they built your computer

download that update, extract it and boot into safe mode and with drive empty, execute the firmware upgrade

this is getting rediculous...i've installed the driver which says (2006) on it, then i went to my device manager, clicked the properties of my dvd-ram and under driver, it still says 2002...so obviously it installed nothing.... i really dont get it anymore....

furthermore, my dvd-drive keeps flashing back and forth between CD ROM and DVD RAM... i dont getit...

also, i'vej ust noticed that i have FLOPPY DISK A included in my computer, and it shouldnt be there because i dont have a floppy disk in my PC at all...

the firmware is not related to the driver, driver comes with the OperatingSystem, generic for all drives.
