    Well you can update your Nero here, you will need your serial#. You can also read & use The Golden Rules but I think you are going to have to wait on a pro to see if there is a firmware update for that drive because I couldn't find one. Also do you have Nero set to automatically booktype for Dvd+R media?

      burn error

      no i just bought a new burner and havent been able to burn anything do i need to reset anything just installed a diffrent lite on burner and also updated windows sp 1 had sp 2 and deleted it b/c it gave me problems

        You really need to try better media. It seems that the media you're using is rated as 4th class media. Videohelp.com also shows this media as very bad.
