Error when trying to burn movie.

I have always burned at 4x, and now Nero does not let me change the option, the only options within Nero (writing speed) are Maximum and 16x, and I constantly get errors when burning movies.

    Nero 6 Ultra Edition 6.6.1.4

    And I use Verbatim DVD+R 16x

I went into the Nero options and those only give the burning options 16x and Max, I have no idea what to do

    Thank you all

P.S. Dvd Shrink is able to encode movie after using Ripit4me.
I get the previous error when it finished encoding the movie.

        Thank you for your help

your problem is you uodated nero to the wrong version and shrink can't call it up to burn

see the stickies on burning manually and post a burn log then but set the burn speed to 8x or slower

            what if..

What if I delete Nero altogether and re-install it, will it make a difference or not really?

you could go this route, be sure and set the burn speed when you get to the backup tab with dvdshrink

Post #17 would probably assist you but reading the whole thread can't hurt.
