Sorry guys...can't do the scan.

I open the Nero function,but it won't recognize the disc...prob needs firmware update like you said,but for now.... no can do-sorry.

Just did another backup tonite (sat),and it came out fine...no issue's.

Like I said earlier...the slower burn speed is an issue for me (too impatient),so i'll prob still use Verb's.....that being said...hopefully I will change my attitude,and convert over to the slower Windata's when I run out of my stock of DL Verb's.

not all dvd burner can do the scan

Windata "coaster" this morning....used a Verb,and it came out ok...go figure.

Verb's are da best.

NightTran is right about not all burner's ablility to scan...but related to invidvidual disc's too possibly....I think I can scan the Verb's,but not the Win's...which may mean firmware issue...i'll check that out too.
