    Verbatim Printables - Made in India

    I purchased a stack of:

    Verbatim SIlver Printables CDR - Made in India;

    MID - 97m17s06f
    Manufacturer - Moser Baer discs

    Anyone know anything about them? Good/Bad/Other? I can return them if they are junk.

      katz,

      Just curious - why do you use the silver printables rather than the white ones?

      Thanks...

        I am trying to get to the bottom of my "printing" issues, as per my other thread, & these were in stock at my local pc store. I prefer the white discs, but I can get by with the silver ones in a pinch.

              I thought your printing issues WERE with the silver ones...that's one of the reasons I've been reluctant to try them.

                Nope - not the silver ones; petsbug suggested that issue w/ the silvers'. I actually didn't specify which ones (color/finish type) until a few posts into the thread.

                  When I first came here late 2006 I was given a link that went to a place that gave GRADES to blank DVD Media. Last time I checked it was NEVER updated and I am wondering, does anyone KNOW what the best are in what feilds (dvd-r /+r/dvd-rw etc are now-a-days!???

                  Thanks for the ear....

                        Choose the old packaging, see soup's scans, I am not impressed with the newer batches(neon packaging) which were prodisc/tawain. My last MBI made were better, much better. Matter of fact my last Sony's were better.

                        But still not as bad as office depot or magnavox cmc mag

                            Verbatim is on the way to becoming grade B single layer media, in all fairness tho I am not sure that anyone is still making grade A media anymore
