flashing from dos, command prompt safe mode etc
I just flash mobo bios from a floppy boot(dos32?)
w/o sata drivers seeing a hard drive is impossible
if the win32 gui flasher doesn't see the drive then you might try a dos floppy boot and run the dos flasher from the command prompt, you might/probably have to have the dos flasher and bin file on an extra floppy you exchange after booting to the startup floppy
I had an old drive try to go south with me in a crossflash and after the win32gui binflash the drive didn't work and the drive light was blinking
I powered down and reflashed after rebooting
any windows flash should be done in safe mode
