Samsung 203B

Ok so my wife orders me a samsung 203b from newegg they have a great deal $27.99 free shipping.I got it today just took it out of box and it's OEM and there is rust colored edges on the back of the circuit board it's odd because circuit board can't rust right?Maybe just discoloration but,it really really looks like rust.Anybody know what it is?Should I have her get RMA?

how do you know if it was not sending by boat? salt water can rust any thing

Rust plastic though?My buddy says see if it works it probably nothing

I can see the color diff on the left and right side of the board that is all?

I know it's too close but, the brown you see on edges is flaky and colored just like rust.I'll try another pic but,the farther I get the less you can see it.The board is green so even the dark reddish brown is discouraging or am I paranoid because of my luck?

my battery ran out after first pic so dates are wrong for rest because I skipped the set date time thing.

that's just where the varnish coating didn't get spread on the edge of the board, not a sign of oxidation? sloppy work nonetheless

where was the drive made and when?

there are always bad batches from certain plants

the newer ones from china are always questionable
