Should I try to burn a movie or wait for some further directions? And one question...in Imgburn when I goto burn a movie, I choose the 'write image file to disc' or do I choose a different one? thanks again for all the help.

Write image to disc if you have an ISO file. Otherwise, use Build mode. EZ-Picker is easiest for novices.

Now, I'm gunna add my voice here - use Verbatims or Taiyo Yuden media. The stuff you are using is 10th rated junk. And read and implement the Golden Rules of Burning.

And, no, AnyDVD is not causing this. But you can disable it (or exit from it) before you burn anyway.
