PowerDVD tv-out

I've tried using winDVD 2.8 as well as PowerDVD 4.0 XP, and when I enable TV-out on my computer both programs tell me that because of the copy protection on the discs they won't be played while tv-out is enabled...has anyone found a way around this or a program that doesn't check for tv-out? thanks.

powerdvd3 allows playback perfectly fine on my machines, version 4 didnt!
