taking copy protection out of windvd?

does anyone know if there is a way to take the copy protection out of windvd?

like i mean when i go to play a movie it comes up and says that it wont play it to the tv-out because no copy protection hardware was found.. so does anyone know a way of bypassing this?

or can anyone suggest a dvd player program that doesnt stop you from playing copy protected movies?

Your video card, and not WinDVD, probably has Macrovision detection built-in.

powerdvd 3 works fine for me, whereas version 4 is giving me the same s**t you're complaining about!
