now for some unknown reasons some dvds show better quality without hardware acceleration, why is that?
these dvds appear very soft (means there contrast/color/sharpness are very poor) just remoivng hardware accel. turns those near died quality dvds to live.
problem is most identified when using "media center editon" and or "media player 9", but not so on either windvd 5 plat. or nvdvd.
iv never used both at once nor using any other codec . mostly uses nvdvd.
System:
Athlon XP 1800+
512 mb ram
ATi Radeon 9200 128 mb
XP media center edition 2004, dx9b,all hotfixes
