    did arccos screw me?

I attempted to burn Fun With Dick and Jane with dvd shrink and got an error message. I proceeded to download just about any freeware that I could get my hands on. I was unsuccessful at burning this movie and now whenever I try to burn a movie, it says that it was successful and will play fine on my computer but not on my dvd player for my t.v.. Any suggestions?

Fun w/D&J is ARccOS protected. Get the PgcEdit Wizard installer from my signature and read the short guide. It was no problem for the wizard.

Every movie that I burn now will not play in my t.v. dvd player after that experience with arccos.

the burn was not a success, but you burned others too and they play on your pc but not on your dvd player?

Are these DVD's you are backing up? The only reason I am asking that is due to the forum this is posted in.

If you have dvd's burned that play on your pc but not your stand alone player that is most likely a media issue. What kind of media are you using what brand, speed and + or -R ? What is you dvd player capable of playig? Not all dvd players can play the same formats.

Will your tv dvd player play an original DVD??

What type of media did you use to burn to?

Does your DVD player play those type of discs?

What speed did you burn at?

Is your firmware up to date?

What type and model of DVD player?

Have you scanned a burnt disc for quality?

What are you backing these movies up from? Are they riped from DVD's?

              Or other video file formats?
