    VOB changes languages while playing

I just tried using DVD Decrypter on Star Wars II: Attack of the Clones and during the opening where it says "A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away..." it flips back and forth between English, Spanish, and French while the VOB is playing and it stutters. If I play the DVD itself, it plays OK but the VOB is not OK.

What could be wrong? DVD Decrypter doesn't error out or complain about anything while extracting.

    Thanks,
    -C

First of all, are you keeping/need all three languages when shrinking?

What type of discs are you using?

If you used Nero to burn with, could you post a log? Learn how here.

      define "IT"

decrypter surely doenst play your title nor will it stutter

the sw-intro uses multiangle so the question is: what software did you use for playback?

      try powerdvd in harddisc mode

If I try to playback the VOB's in "DVD from Folder" mode with WinDVD it works just like the disk.

Why would it act differently if I were to try to play just one of the VOB files with WinDVD?

In WinDVD, it sounds like all audio streams are selected. I do not use WinDVD. Why don't you try Media Player Classic? Get it here. Almost everyone here recommends it for playback.

Media Player Classic does the exact same thing. When I open VTS_05_1.vob with MPC, the file opens and starts playing fine, but when the file gets to the part where "A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away...." is displayed, MDC stutters and the display flips to "Hace mucho tiempo, en una galaxia muy, muy lejana..." and then to "Il y a bien longtemps, dans une galaxie lointaine, tres lointaine..."

DID you reduce the data already?

you dont give us any information WHEN you try to play the files and with what (by now we know), which settings were used for ripping or what tool/setting was used for data reduction

decrypter has nothing to do with what you're describing and we are no mindreaders

I just used DVD Decrypter to extract the DVD to my hard drive. It created VOB, IFO, and BUP files.

It appears to be a multi-angle problem...according to another forum.

                    It WAS a multi-angle problem.

I just used techreactor's article from here:

digital, digest, dvd, divx, dvdr, dvd+r, dvd-r, rip, copy, ripping, convert, backup, back, up, shrink, xvid, software, download, news, guide, article
