hi! most of the movies we burn freeze toward the end of the movie when we play them on our dvd-player hooked up to the tv (in fact, they don't play at all on some other dvd-players). however, when we play them on our pc (or other pc's), they play without any problems.
i have read several threads on related questions, and those seem to suggest that there is probably somewthing wrong with the burn. i suspect, however, that the player is the problem. (we burn with the latest version of nero (as far as I know), with good media (maxell dvd-r), we don't use the computer for anything else when burning, and at just 2x. also, we always test the burn to make sure they are 100% good; using nero). does anybody know whether dvd-players are a likely source for problems with playback? and which dvd-players (or what characteristics about them) ensure a good playback? i would go out and buy another player, if that would solve it.
i would really appreciate any ideas that you have. thanks!
