Be careful of local child labor laws. You might have to try .50 cents depending on what country you're in. arrrrgh

I think in U.S. you don't have to pay them anything as long as they are your own rug rats.

One of my neighbors kids is always going into our local Eckerds store dumpster, the stuff the kid gets is still shrink wrapped. I'm thinking about doing it before the kid does.

I sometimes buy previous viewed movies from the local rental outlet. They are usually 8.99 but you have to be careful about scratches. A couple of the clerks behind the counter have substituted better copies than the one sold. It pays to get friendly.

BTW I dumpster dive @ Walmart, BestBUY, Zellers, Sears, BB, Rogers.... basically anyplace that sells DVDs. You never know when you find a gem!!

I love that Midway find but to copy a 3 hour movie, it will be hard to keep quality unless a splitter or a DVD9 is used!

I would hate to be desperate enough for money to pawn a movie!!!!!

@Gary,, If I remember correctly i don't think it took much compression at all on a single layer disc.

I think I'll wait for it to get a lil colder and wear one of them hoodie sweat shirts or jackets in case one of the neighbors sees me. And I'll hafta bring a lil ladder with me in case I can't climb outta the dumpsters. I ain't as limber as I usta be . And I think I'll make the rounds of all the dumpsters in a couple mile radius

You have to do whatever it takes to cut costs. If I had to pay retail for every movie in my collection I'd be broke. Wait I am broke. Back to the dumpster.

Two movies that should stay in the dumpster: "The Blackhole" and "Clawed,The Legend of Sasquatch". If I had bought them ,i wouldn't waste a good blank to make a backup copy...

                          My first BB dumpster experience

I took a DVD back at 2:00AM so.......It was a lil dumpster and I didn't have to dive in.. I popped the lid and looked in and there were bags full of the BB DVD cases. The bags I grabbed were mostly full of the BB "Welcome to More" promotion with about 10 or so game and movie DVD cases. They were all empty but my brother in law uses em for the DVDs he makes. So now is is the proud owner of about 125 used but free BB full size DVD cases. Free is nice

I will dumpster dive at the drop of a hat & bring my own hat (in the stores that is) so far.
