need help getting movies to PC

I have a friend's Panasonic digital palmcorder with photoshot--they can't find the book and know very little on how to run the thing. I would like to take some movies I took and put them on the PC. The tape that is in the camera says "VHS3." The only driver I have is for the still shots. Can I take movies from the tape and put them on the PC? If so, do I need a driver, and where can I get one. Thanks guys
