Hi, I am a newbie in this exciting field, can anyone help me to find out the reasons I am getting poor quality DV capture from my Sony Digital 8 TRV 120 Camera.
The captured clips show a lot of artifacts, specialy on bright white objects, some portions of video will have blinking artifacts and edges are having criss cross lines, I dont think these are caused by interlacing, since I could not remove them by deinterlacing.
which I can do by using deinterlacing option in power DVD software DVD player, and also the option in Adobe Premier.
I could see the jagged edges even on the television screen, which is an interlaced medium. But the artifacts are not visible, that could be because of low resolution screen, when I directly connect the camera to TV.
Is this happening to this particular Camera or any thing else is at fault?
I am running a pentium 3 600 MHz machine, with a generic 1394 card.
Any help in this regard will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
