I was curious to find out if I would be able to play a DVD on my regular cd rom or cdr? If it is possible, please let me know. I am trying to get started into this for home video reasons. mslantz02@aol.com I think I got the e-mail thing right......? I think!

Why is this a poll, and where is the 'It's impossible' option ?Last edited by khp; 28 Oct 2002, 05:59 AM.Donate your idle CPU time for something usefull.

No, CD-ROM drives use different laser wave lengths than DVDs.

Then why are you asking this question ?, if you know this to be possible, you must also know how to do it.
If a drive can read a DVD disc it's a DVD-Rom or -Ram drive, not a CD drive.Donate your idle CPU time for something usefull.
