Like all of you at one time, I have begun to explore..

    Hola todos,

Quick question. Well, let me work into it...
I have a cdrw and windows xp. I found a place to download avi and dvix (Dvd i think) videos and movies and I would like to know what I need to do to convert them so I can burn them on a cdr and play them on my dvd player?
Or maybe convert my mpeg to any file that can be viewed by my dvd player in the livingroom.
Or as a last resort, convert the avi or dvix to mpeg so I can view them in the computer.
    You help is greatly appreciated...

SVCD is highly recommended, but make sure that your DVD-player support VCD or SVCD and even more important, if it supports CD-R. And if it does, will cheap noname CD-R play or just quality CD-R?
