    most necessary CODECS

Hello I was looking for a guide on which codecs to install for both a clutter free system and ability to playback most movie files..

i saw and followed one online earlier that was awesome but just reformatted and havent had luck finding it.

if anyone could give info on which codecs to install with Nimo 5 build 8 (because i know that not all of them are necessary) that would be great.

also, which among the following programs should i install as well?

    vdobsub
    ogg vorbis
    radlight
    mpeg decoder

i know i can just install every codec available but i'm trying to keep my cpu as clutter free as possible

    ..thanks for all your help!

That really depends on what formats your movies use. Install only those codecs that you know you need.

For the record, I have 3.11, MS MPEG4 V2, 5.02, XviD and a few others installed.
