Help - No Sound: Lord of the Rings

I have the new extended version of the Lord of the Rings. I have ripped it with smartripper and then used flask to make it avi. The problem is that there is no sound, the image is perfect, but there isnt any sound. I ripped lots of films before and had no problem, thats why i dont now what the problem is. Can anyone pls help?

1) What version of Flask are you using?

2) In Flask, have you inadvertently deselected "Decode audio" (is "Don't decode audio" checked instead?) under the "Audio" tab?

3) Do the ripped .VOBs play with audio from your hard drive?

since the extended version is split on two dvd, how exactly did you go about transcoding the movie?

one dvd after the other?

I had, without realising, deselected the audio decode option. I don't know how, but i had. Thanx for answering. By the way, i ripped both dvds and then used virtualdob to divide them into three cds and another fourth for the extras. Quality 640x480. Fantastic. I youre fan of Lord of the Rings, you must see the extended version, the best dvd ever. Thanks again, Matrixity.
