? "dvix and subtitles"

i'm an italian student in finland and i'm using my computer to study but also to watch movies.
the problem is that the dvix are in english and i'd like just know if it's possible to add subtitle (in english to understand better) to a *.avi file.

you can downlaod subtitles for example from this page:

http://www.divx-subtitles.tk/

to view those subtitles use a player like BSPlayer, which can load SRT-subtitle format with ease.
