    Horrid Video

    This was just a general question, but I know people here would know. I just got a DVD player and now all the videos in real dark black areas are pixelated. Horrid. Am I right when I assume that it wouldn't be the DVD's? I got a Maxnavox MDV450. I believed it to be pretty good; plays VCD's, SVCD's, MP3's, CD-R's, CD-RW's and picture CD's. Just basic advice would help. Thanks guys.

      What kind of connection are you using from the DVD player to the TV/VCR/etc...

              my connection?

              it's not s-video. its the 3 cables, red, white, and yellow
