please held DV Driver

All,

I have a JVC DVL820
hooked to
PC with firewire card via firewire cable
Premiere 6 software

Im trying to capture DV, but Premiere comaplains about no DV driver.

I also have some other video editing software that came with the Firewire card. It reports exactly the same problem?

Now my Firewire card shows up in Windows 2000 Pro as installed and working. I used no specific driver to install it, nor is there one on the CD. Windows found it and installed it, I guess with a Windows std driver.

What DV driver is it looking for, and where can I get it?

i should think that either mainconcept or canopus will work.

both are part of tsunamis filterpack 397, which can be found in the downloads of my page.
