looking for a sound codec

i attempted to play a movie and got video, but no sound. i put the video into GSpot and here is what it said for the sound:

ac3 (0x2000) "Dolby Laboratories, Inc"

224 kb/s (112/ch x 2 ch)

48000 Hz

i dont have this codec and dont know where to find it - if anyone can help me i'd appreciate it

You need the AC3 codec.

Do a google search to find it
